6:00 to 8:30 PM

Matthew Smith, Kristine Handley, and Padrick Handley bring a wide variety of songs you know, but may have forgotten you know. From 60s folk rock and 70s pop to 80s new wave and 90s alternative, this acoustic trio delivers the perfect Friday night soundtrack with a front-row seat to the runway.

The PDK Good Neighbor Day Air Show and STEM Expo returns to DeKalb-Peachtree Airport on Saturday, September 19, 2026, and we have got the best seat on the field.

This year's show celebrates America's 250th anniversary with an expanded format running 1pm to 9pm. Expect static aircraft displays, aerial performances, a STEM Expo for the whole family, a night air show, a drone light show, and fireworks to close it all out.

The Downwind sits right inside the PDK terminal, so you can watch the runway come alive with good food in front of you and a cold drink in hand. We are staying open through the evening show, so plan to settle in for the night air show, the drone show, and the fireworks finale.
