This is one of my favorite places in Atlanta and I always go back when I visit. The food is fresh and tasty and I think their burger and turkey club sandwiches are some of the best in town. And don't forget to order the fried pickles!

We really did not come with high expectations when we found the Downwind Restaurant, we were only looking for a dining option that could include grandchildren. This place was great! The food was delicious, there were healthy options, and there are chicken nuggets and grilled cheese for the kids. The prices are fair, the service is fantastic, and they were very accommodating. I highly recommend.

I have been coming to Downwind for years. Don't let the old ambiance fool you. The food is fantastic and view of the runway is even better! I ordered the blackened grouper since it was one of the specials. It was delicious.
